I am based in Charleston, SC and YES YES YES! I will travel! Contact me with your location and event date and I will get back to you with a travel fee which includes flight/gas money and housing. No worries; I love finding deals and will find the most affordable option available. With destination weddings, I am always down to figure it out!

For destination events, I will be in communication with you regarding airports and airbnbs/hotels. As soon as possible, I will send you proposals for flights and airbnbs and you can select the best option or provide alternatives. I am familiar with deals and sales and do my best to find an affordable and convenient option as well as book very early so you have those details out of the way!

You will receive around fifty sample photos within a week of the wedding date & an online gallery link with all your photos within seven to ten weeks.

Yes I do! Part of the fee for photographing your wedding is that each photo is individually edited and enhanced in Adobe Lightroom to create a beautiful final piece.

While the amount of photos varies, typically a full day wedding will result in a minimum of 450 photos. I cannot guarentee a set amount, but we will be in touch about your "shot list" and I will be taking candids throughout the day!

The raw, unedited photos are not available for viewing or purchase.

If possible, I would like to attend the rehearsal of the ceremony in order to become familiar with the location and determine where I will place myself during the events. If this is not an option or travel does not permit it, no worries! I have a lot of experience adapting to new situations and I will be able to maneuver to where I need to be.

I will occasionally bring a personal assistant or photographer I am mentoring to a wedding. If that is a potential for your wedding, I will communicate with you beforehand. Even when I have a mentee coming to a session, I will be the one taking your photos, editing, and providing the gallery.

NATURAL
Natural light & natural motion! I am a big proponent of natural light, which means shooting outdoors! Whether it's the reception, ceremony, or the couples photos, I would love to try and incorporate natural light into your wedding!
Plus, this term doubles to cover my second trademark: natural poses. No one-kind-fits-all with couples; I want to showcase YOU and YOUR relationship, which means in our coffee date or over the phone, we'll talk about the quirks of your relationship to make this shoot uniquely about you ♡

JOYFUL
I want to capture the things you love about one another & the special joy that fills people when they choose to care so deeply for another person. I will always ask couples what their favorite little things the other person does are so that we can record those in our session! ♡

STORYTELLING
If your photographer is not telling your story, what are they doing?? Photos should tell the entire story of the wedding, so you can remember the day, not just the moments :) Before your wedding, we will go over a shot list, & I will always be moving around & looking to capture those extra little interactions that you can look back on in the long run to remember the day like it was yesterday! ♡

Personally, I prefer what I like to call "directing" over posing! What that means is that more often than posing my couples, I will give them an action that they get to do whatever they want with (ex. waltz, tickle fight, crazy piggy back ride...). This method of directing photos makes for more natural expressions, reactions, and more fun memories!

It is always helpful to hear what you as the bride and/or groom would like to see! Pinterest galleries, shot lists, schedules, anything that helps me capture your vision, I am all for it.

I use professional Canon equipment, and you'll typically see me with my camera "holster" decked out with two cameras and a couple lenses along the way ;) Don't worry, I've got ya covered.

Unfortunately, I cannot save a date until we have a signed contract and deposit. The sooner you touch base with me the better!

I do take payment plans. If you are interested in a payment plan, be sure to let me know before signing the contract so that I can draft that in.

I require a non-refundable deposit to reserve a date. Once you sign a contract and send the initial deposit, the deposit cannot be refunded if the event is cancelled.

ASAP! The sooner you book the more chance I will be available for the date you need, and the sooner we can start planning how to make your day as special as possible! I recommend at least three months in advance for weddings.
